Dr. Rhoderick Blasco (also known as Dr. Rod) is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist from Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Rod graduated from Stony Brook University Dental Medicine and completed a general practice residency at NYU Langone Hospital. During his time at Stony Brook and NYU Langone, Dr. Rod realized that his most fearful and nervous adult patients were always ones that hated going to the dentist as a kid. This fear was something Dr. Rod knew started at a young age and became a driving factor to his interest in working with children. Going to the dentist doesn’t have to be scary and working with kids was the most fun! After pursuing electives in pediatric and special needs dentistry at Stony Brook and NYU Langone, Dr. Rod went on to complete his post graduate education in Pediatric Dentistry at Chesapeake Healthcare/Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Rod’s approach is one tailoring differently for every child. Dr. Rod strives to make going to the dentist as interactive and educational as possible and is committed to making sure that your child can smile and even laugh at the dental office. Dr. Rod is also a proud diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
